AMT,Inc. was contacted by Eric Dawalt of Bluegrass Stream along with Gina Morris of Palmer Engineering, to provide erosion control solutions for an eroded stream bank. They had already established a rock toe, but needed a product to reclaim the eroding slope behind it. We came up with a Filtrexx Living Wall application and Filtrexx EdgeSaver to establish vegetation and provide support for the slope.

Upon completion of the seeded Living Wall, 200 live stakes of Willow were placed on 3 foot intervals along the 400 linear feet of soxx in order to quickly root, and establish a strong, environmentally sensitive solution to a difficult problem. This natural Living Wall will not only hold the slope, but will be aesthetically pleasing and blend with the surroundings.
